Dear all,

We are glad to inform you that there will be “RECRUITMENT OF FRESH GRADUATES” for all Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS students who are currently doing Bachelor of Science in Mechanical /Chemical / Material / Manufacturing Engineering by GENTING PLANTATIONS BERHAD.

Genting Plantations Berhad has expressed interest in recruiting undergraduate engineering students to be posted in their Oil Mill in West Malaysia, Sabah and Indonesia. They have also arranged for an interview session on this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, 26^th -27^th July 2011.

Please take note that registration and interview is only eligible for final year engineering students especially to those who are looking for a JOB.

The details are as follows:

Date          : Tuesday and Wednesday 26^th to 27^th July, 2011

Time          : 10.00am - 4.00pm

Venue       : Pocket D (Exhibition)

                   Discussion Room 1.1 and 1.2, IRC (Interview session)

Thus, for the student who are interested in this, please bring along your resume, original and a copy of your I/C, SPM and University (CGPA) results with a recent passport size photograph during the interview.

ChemeCar Selection Results

First of all, I wanna wish everyone. . . .

It’s finally the end of the ChemeCar selection process.

All participants had worked hard for it and it does not matter whether you book a place in the top 6 or not.

The important thing is that you have tried hard and that is all what mattered.

No matter, try hard in everything you do. Preparation is very much emphasized.

Dear winner teams,

Congratulation to your team for securing a place in Top Six teams to compete in the Internal Chem-E Car Competition which will be held on February 2012 tentatively. We have judged your team based on power mechanism, stopping mechanism, design creativity, environmental and safety, quality of presentation slides and team member presentation.

Below is the team who qualify into Internal Chem-E Car Competition: (It is listed in no particular order)

For the winning teams, please start work on the ideas and car construction. The Internal competition is same as national competition. We will choose the top 2 teams to go for the national competition. We will judge from your car performance and poster presentation. So your team needs to come out with a working car model which can carry 0 to 500ml loads of water and travel between 15 m to 25 m. The details of the competition will be updated to your team soon.

Your team can consult seniors’ team or Mr. Azry or Dr. Nooryusmiza for any advice. Your team can find Mr. Azry at azrybo@petronas.com.my or Dr. Yusmiza at nooryus@petronas.com.my .
